Fan clubs are nothing new. People have come together to show their fandom for their favorite band or actor for decades. They shared photos, news and discussed the creator’s life and work. Then sometimes these fans would get to interact with their idol at a show or meetup. Usually these fan clubs were created around mainstream pop culture icons.

But those days are long gone.

Yes, there are still the elite pop culture artists or creators, but the Internet has disrupted traditional media. Now anyone can be a musician, filmmaker, photographer, writer, artist, podcaster or blogger, and share their content and connect with fans from all over the world. It’s never been easier. But how does a creator make money?

A Crowdfunding Fan Club

So if you can easily create content and connect with fans from all over the world, can you also easily make money?

Yes! At Wusk we give creators their very own Pay to Join Fan Club. Creators can receive monetary support and share news, content and personally connect with their biggest fans. And fans get to show their appreciation to creators and connect with them in a personal way. Think of it as a crowdfunding fan club for creators. It’s a win for both parties.

Easy & Personal

So what makes Wusk different?

First, it’s really easy to get started. All you have to do is create your Wusk Page where you share what you create, how the fan support helps you, how you’ll engage with fans and how much money you would like to receive each month.

Then you can ask your fans for support by sharing your page on social media, and add the link wherever you create, such as in YouTube video descriptions. Think of it as the gateway into your fan club.

Secondly, you don’t have to worry about offering complicated and time consuming reward levels like other creator crowdfunding services. A fan is rewarded badges based on the amount of times they support a creator, and the creator can engage with these fans in unique ways.

We believe the reward for a fan is in the original content and the ability to connect with creators in a personal way. That is why we created a personal messenger experience for creators and fans. Instead of a group chat, or a content feed, it’s like the creator is talking directly with a fan.

Zero Wusk Fees

One of our goals is to help creators make more money. So right now we’re choosing to not take a percentage of the creator’s earnings. We know that a lot of fan support comes from $1 to $10 transactions, and we don’t want to have that eaten up with fees. Wusk currently has the lowest fees out of all crowdfunding and tip jar solutions. Creators are only charged credit card transaction fees of 2.9%+ $0.3, and we’ll be working hard to reduce these fees as well. Wusk currently has the lowest fees out of all crowdfunding and tip jar solutions.

Our vision is to help creators flourish and create communities. We’re very excited to bring the Wusk Fan Club experience to you, and we hope you will come on this journey with us.
