Crypto is softer as the weekend starts, with Bitcoin down -2% to $19.1k on $24B of volumes. Ethereum is off -3% to $1285 on $9B of turnover, back to single-digit volumes. MetaMask is now working with Sardine to allow users to transfer up to $3k per day in fiat through an ACH transfer into crypto, which is a better user experience vs. going through an exchange. Magic Eden is moving to optional royalties after other marketplaces with zero royalties popped up and sucked Solana-NFT volumes away.
NFT volumes stay stubbornly the same at around $12M, with ETH-NFTs trading $9M and Solana-NFTs at $1.6M. Azuki took the top spot with $1.2M on 66 transactions, and BAYC came in second on $1M of turnover with 10 trades. Anthony Hopkin’s collection launched on OpenSea with enough buzz, with the collection coming in third with $800k of secondary volume.
