The reason I have started writing every day is because of a guy named Seth Godin. He is a best selling author and marketing guru with a lot to say.

Seth has been blogging since the early days of the internet. He is a really inspiring guy and is very charismatic and enjoyable to read and hear speak. He writes a blog everyday at: http://sethgodin.typepad.com/. I highly recommend checking him out.

What I find really inspiring about Seth is his level of consistency. Seriously, the guy has been writing everyday for decades! That is dedication. And he brings up some good points about why it is important to write everyday. For one it is record of ones thoughts. A way to catalog what you’re thinking about everyday. But even more importantly Seth says that it is important to write everyday because you can look back and say “I said that”. If you don’t have it in writing, did you ever really say it at all?

So I have begun this practice of writing everyday and I credit Seth with giving me the kick in the butt to get started. Thanks Seth.
