HR PROSPECTIVE REGARDING JOB INTERVIEWS, SELECTION IN PAKISTAN


Greetings to All.
An assignment / task given by the amal academy fellowship sessions we have divided into different groups and each group consist of 07 persons to meet the any HR manager / Executive of any company which is currently working in the Pakistan. After doing some research and discuss with the other group members we have selected the Sigma Distributors, Pakistan for this purpose. We just try to contact with the HR executive and request to give some time we will discuss some key points regarding PASSENGER or Job interviews, Job selection, Resume / CV and Cover letter.
We had a good meeting in a very pleasant environment with the HR executive of Sigma Distributors Mr. Nabeel. He is very good happy and Joyful person, we have a lot of Discussions in HR responsibilities, hiring firing etc.
After all that we had a small questions answers session with Mr. Nabeel and he give a very suitable concise and effective answers with their own practice and experience. Here is the list of Questions that we asked:
- In your experience, how important do you think it is to be yourself in an interview?
- How do you identify if a candidate is being real or not during the interview?
- What suggestions you may have on how to be fully prepared/equipped for an interview?
Results / Outcome: After all discussions that we have learned many things and this is also helps us is future specially in professional career.
- Social Media profile is important (Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, etc)
- HR only spend 10–15 seconds on each resume.
- Almost all HR managers give important to Experience and skills that you have rather that you Academic / qualifications.
I write this blog to complete my assignment and also share my experience that I have gained through this.
