The Deep Romance of Kuzu No Honkai/Scum’s Wish (Review)
Did I ever tell you that I am a big fan of romance? Therefore, sometimes you just kind of go for a passionate romance. Not everytime, just, sometimes.
I started watching this anime with zero expectation, since it just came up to my recommendation. It ended up I learned many things about love and feelings from this anime.
One’s feeling to other is important, but you can not expect the same thing from other person.
You can not please everyone.
True love will set you free.
Those are so deep, aren’t those? Yes. Each episode is very passionate that you can not watch it with you little siblings (please take a look at the genre).
Hanabi appears to be a dark, shy, and innocent girl. When she found what she capables of, she actually knows she can do better than Akane: making men to easily fall in love with her. Then we know a yandere fight between these two to get Kanai’s attention. We shout, in the end true love will win.
The love story from both straight and lesbian affair become the process of maturity from Hanabi and Mugi. I hoped the best for two, either they can make up as friends or lovers. In the end, they are in both situation, just a little bit difficult time to face.
Kuzu no Honkai has my type of anime graphic. It is smooth and each character can be differentiated. The script and dialogue are quite good for a story that doesn’t seem to be rushed. We will see the bitter journey of each person to be a mature, thoughtful adult, moving on from each unrequited love.
Songs that Masaru Yokoyama chose are seducing, and letting out the most of struggle moments from the casts that you can feel the confusion, uncertainty, and the sad truth about love. For a light, passionate anime, I give the score 7 out of 10. Do you have any other recommendation?
