Windows: A Wishlist

One of the most amazing things about Windows is its flexibility. Hundreds of thousand programmers make Windows as the base for their software because it is probably the only platform that is reached by almost a billion people around the globe.

In the past decade, we have seen some amazing movies come out with emphasis on advanced computers. Many names might come to mind but I personally am fascinated by Jarvis from Iron man. I’m taking on Jarvis not to be specific about something, but just to make it as a template on which to present my idea.

For Mr. Stark, Jarvis is not only his virtual assistant, but also his interface to everything his computer is connected to. Lets just say for him, Jarvis is the operating system for his rig. Numerous screens all enabled with 3D gesture control are basic I/O and a handful of keyboards enable Mr. Stark to fully interact with Jarvis along with voice commands of course.

What I want is basically a visual overhaul for Windows. Not quiet the same as provided by Rainmeter, but something that gives it a futuristic look. This probably will not be different than earlier versions of Windows that had a GUI sitting on top of a DOS, here I’d like a cool interface, sitting on top of the traditional File Explorer process.

I have been toying with a few utilities but nothing even comes close to what I have been craving for some time now. I must say that I hope someone picks on the hints and creates something wonderful, if not, then I will start experimenting with Windows myself once I complete my studies.

If you have any knowledge of something that looks remotely as what I just described, please do let me know in the comments, thank you :)
