1: Don’t leave everything for the content/copywriter

This is one of the most common mistakes that most UX designers make. Content is the backbone around which your design revolves. Yes, we have content writers for the final content for you but a UX designer should be the showrunner in terms of giving the direction for the content to flow smoothly. Not thinking about the content while designing the wireframes can hamper the overall experience.

2: Don’t forget to include a proposition statement

A great value proposition paints a clear & powerful picture of what your brand has to offer. It introduces you to prospective buyers and helps you make a strong first impression.

01 Show insights not just data

Designers often confuse data with insights. A user is not just concerned about reviewing his data in a beautiful way, they want to see what they can do with this data. For example, If I am creating a section of a dashboard for a recruitment firm, where the CEO is reviewing the number of people hired, A simple approach could show ‘Total applications’, ‘People hired’, ‘Application in process’ and the ‘Applications rejected’. …
