How to write a killer SDE Resume?
A Recruiter has less than 8 seconds to view your Resume and based on that you either will be selected or would get Rejected 💡
‼ NOTE ‼ Don’t do Spelling, Punctuation or Grammar mistakes in your Resume. Use the Grammarly application for this. Never add your photograph to your resume unless mentioned.
1. Add Your Education of Class X , Class XII with their Marks. Don’t forget to add your College and your current CGPA or %ge till now 📃
2. Add only the skills in which you have made projects and pursuing coding or any other skill which you have learned during certifications 🙋♂️
3. Add your Internships. Include the experiences of hackathons and hiring challenges.
4. Mention your projects in 3 points.
Add the link to your project and deploy it on Github.
The first point will tell about the objective of your project, the second point ; what work have your project done and the third will tell the technologies or skills used in it 💻
5. Add the link to your professional profiles. Don’t exceed more than 4 profiles and these can be : LinkedIn, YouTube, Github, Coding Websites ✅
6. Mention your courseworks such as : OOPS,DBMS,Computer Networks,Operating Systems & Distributed systems. You won’t believe that majority of the companies have these subjects written in their job description.
✌ Additional Tips :
1. Try to build at least 1000+ good and genuine Connections on LinkedIn 🤝
2. Try to get at least one good internship in the field of your choice.
3. Try to maintain above 8+ CGPA in college 👨🎓
4. Solve a good amount of coding questions on one or two websites and add them to your resume 😘
Try to Contribute articles for GFG and other sites.
5. Mention only Good and Mega achievements of your college 🤑
6. Try your hands in Open Source contributions.
When applying for jobs, don’t apply to multiple jobs through one resume. Rather include keywords from the Job description in your resume and create a separate resume for each Job ✌️
