I start with a blank white canvas be it paper, or my office whiteboard, use sticky notes to beautify things further.

I love working with very basic tools for my wire-frames and prototypes. I use lots of sticky notes, markers and a whiteboard. I once covered-up our office conference room table with white paper to be my canvas. Working with these basic tools is fun.
