Literature Link in Memory of Dale Dunnigan 11/26/23

Rev. Joyce’s sermon on Sunday, November 26th, included a reference to a new book by David Brooks, How to Know a Person: The Art of Seeing Others Deeply and Being Deeply Seen. While she admitted she hasn’t yet read the book, it’s at the top of her list of purchased books waiting to be read. David Brooks is well-known to public radio and television fans. He is a commentator on “PBS Newshour,” and NPR’s “All Things Considered.”

But his new book, just released 10j/24/23 isn’t essentially political, but rather intensely personal. If you are intrigued by his title, the book is widely available in hardback, Kindle, and audiobook.

It’s available from Amazon at:

Several workbooks have also been published, to assist in a personal application of David’s ideas, also available from Amazon.
