Eighth Floor View
Enjoy sights of Lambeau Field, the Weidner Center, seven miles of Arboretum Trails, and Communiversity Park from the top of campus. The eighth floor of the Cofrin Library is a picture-perfect place to capture a great view.
UWGB’s lakeshore views can be enjoyed from Communiversity Park. The Bay has endless options for scenic photos.
Each year seniors commemorate their graduation by lofting a warn pair of shoes high into the branches of a campus landmark, the Shoe Tree. The Shoe Tree is a UW-Green Bay tradition. Instagrammers love a chance to capture the creative nature of this important piece of UWGB culture.
Cofrin Arboretum Trail
The Cofrin Memorial Arboretum forms a natural boundary of 290 acres encircling the UW-Green Bay campus. According to the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity, emphasis is placed on the protection, enrichment, and development of native Wisconsin plant communities and areas of special ecological significance. Forests, prairies, ponds, and creeks pose as perfectly Instagrammable locations to showcase one of the most beautiful campuses in the United States.
The Lenfestey Family Courtyard
The Lenfestey Family Courtyard is in the center of Mary Ann Cofrin Hall. Like the rest of Mary Ann Cofrin Hall, the courtyard design demonstrates ecologically responsible architecture. Visit the Courtyard if you are looking for a quiet place to read, study, or to capture Insta-ready gardens.
The Student Services Plaza
The Student Services Plaza is located on the roof of Student Services, immediately adjacent to the University Union. Capture a great Insta-photo in this vibrant picnic and study space.
Take a detour from the UWGB tunnels and enjoy the green grass and lush trees in the Quad. You might end up discovering great angles for your Insta-audience.
G. Douglass Cofrin Gateway
This corridor links the center of campus and the Cofrin Memorial Arboretum. The trellis provides many Insta-opportunities as a structure for native vines surrounded by nature and wildlife.
Weidner Center Chandelier
Created by artist Dale Chihuly, the Weidner Center Chandelier consists of more than 450 individual hand-blown pieces of glass configured onto a steel armature. This blown glass is a notable dramatic art that adds color and creativity to your profile. Lit up at night or from any angle, this piece makes for a fabulous photo subject.
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Main Entrance
UW-Green Bay has exceptional facilities and a scenic campus. The Main Entrance is the perfect spot for a Phoenix Pride Instagram post.
The Kress Events Center
Play Hard. Have Fun. Lead On. Along with being an excellent environment of wellness, recreation, and athletics, the Kress is a great place to get your #fitspiration on.
The Weidner Center for Performing Arts
The Weidner Center has presented an astounding array of performances from Broadway, to chamber orchestras, to pop acts and numerous family events. Sitting in the theatre provides a great experience, but the best view is from stage. UW-Green Bay performing arts students have the opportunity to perfom in this beautiful and acclaimed space.
