There are plenty ways to enjoy winter at UW-Green Bay. Check off these indoor and outdoor activities on your UWGB Winter Bucket List because the cold never bothered us anyway.

Snowshoe or cross-country ski on Cofrin Memorial Arboretum

More than 6 miles of trails are open for recreation such as hiking, biking, bird-watching, cross-country skiing and simply meandering.

Do homework in a cozy new setting and sip warm beverages!

Ice Skate

Take your exercise indoors at the Kress Events Center

The Kress is a perfect place to hide from your winter worries. Check out fitness classes, go climbing, or jump in the pool for a swim– the options are endless.

Visit Triangle Hill

The Triangle Sports Area has opportunities for skiing, snowboarding and tubing.

Zoo & Wildlife Sanctuary

Attend a local sporting event

Head over to the Resch Center for some sports! The Green Bay Blizzard indoor football team and the Green Bay Gamblers junior ice hockey team play at the Resch Center throughout the winter months.

Winter Market

Over 80 vendors including local meats, cheese, bakery, vegetables, canned items, coffee, hand crafted art pieces and various local restaurants can be found at the KI Center on select Saturdays. Check out the Bellin Health 7th Annual New Leaf Winter Farmers Market starting December 10th.

Visit the theatre

Enjoy a show at the Meyer Theatre, Backstage at the Meyer, the Resch Center or the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts.
