Fall in love with River Falls.

1. Skate at Hunt Arena during open skate hours.

Thursdays 9–10 p.m. & Sundays 1–2:30 p.m.
Oh! Don’t worry if you don’t have skates. Rentals are only $2 for Falcons.

2. Shop for Halloween costumes at area thrift stores.

BOO! This spooky guy was spotted
at Treasures of the Heart on Main Street.

3. Decorate your res hall door!

Hey, college kids like to color, too!

4. Cheer on our Falcon athletic teams!

Show us your Falcon spirit in red, white and black!

5. Visit Glen Park, skip across the swinging bridge and see “the falls.”

Maybe you’ve been there before, but have you been there in the fall?
It’s gorgeous.

6. Try a pumpkin spice latte at Einstein’s (if you haven’t already).

Mmm, looks good Chloe! Instagram: @chloepaavola

7. Write a letter to your parents.

Whether you see them every day or haven’t been
home since classes started, they will appreciate it.

8. Grab some friends to play a pick-up game outside.

Quick! Before winter traps you inside!

9. Carve or decorate a pumpkin.

We can’t have carved pumpkins in the residence halls,
but if you paint one, it will look just as cute!

10. Make a BIG pile of leaves on campus and jump in them!

Or make leaf angels! Or leaf designs! Or leaf words! The possibilities are unbe-LEAF-able.

11. Take TONS of pictures.

Fall only comes once a year and the leaves in River Falls are some of the prettiest. Show them off to the world with pride!

12. Bake something yummy!

These pumpkin chocolate chip bread muffins are perfect for the season! Click here for fellow Falcon Ellie’s easy recipe!

13. Go for a drive.

Even if it’s just to clear your mind from the craziness of college life.
Plus, you never know where you’ll end up.

14. Collect leaves and press them.

WARNING: This should not be the only use for your textbooks.

15. Start your holiday shopping early!

The Falcon Shop has great gifts for all ages!
Share your Falcon pride.

16. #FindYourFitUWRF

UWRF has awesome FREE group fitness classes from yoga to kickboxing! Class dates and times are available on the campus event calendar.

17. Start a “thankful tree.”

DIYers, rejoice. This one’s for you! Thanksgiving is right around the corner and there is much to be thankful for. Click here to get instructions and free printable leaves!

18. Visit the local farmers market.

Find fresh fruit, vegetables, flowers, baked goods, honey,
maple syrup and more! Every Saturday at Dick’s Market
8 a.m. to noon through October.

19. Plan a “friends-giving” feast.

Gather at the UC, a local restaurant or cook up a feast together! Why wait for Thanksgiving to enjoy good food and good company?

20. Wake up early, go for a walk and watch the sunrise through the leaves.

This one takes determination but believe us, it will be worth it.
Hint: the paths around the Campus Farm and Knowles are stunning!

21. Star gaze.

Get closer to the stars than you’ve ever been before at the UWRF Observatory. Click here for the fall schedule!

22. Grab a coffee or have a homework date.

The Dish and Spoon is a cozy cafe right on Main Street. A perfect spot to grab some coffee, catch up on homework and connect with the ones you care about.

Because in the end, that’s what really matters.

Enjoy fall, Falcons!
