Of course not everyone is into children, in which case your assessment may be accurate. Finding meaningful work can definitely be a proxy for that nurturing part in most of us. I guess there’s a reason why people call their start-ups or businesses or their Phd theses their babies.

But once you have real ones, you’ll have to prioritise, one way or another.
