I think this depends on wether this cleaner is the persona we are designing for.

Agree that at the end of the day, the buck stops with the designer — who should have the final say on design. But designers need to be mindful of the fact that they don’t have a monopoly on ideas and should be open to all ideas, regardless of where or who they come from. The cleaner, CEO, developer, or designer could be the one that comes up with the idea. The designer takes all the ideas, curates them, and then produces the design.
