Don’t Ever Make This Mistake…

You might notice a trend nowadays where students are leaving their studies, dropping out of college to pursue career in UX design. It’s not just UX design; many other fields are seeing this too.

You may come across videos on Instagram reels or elsewhere showcasing individuals who dropped out of college and are now earning big, achieving success. But let me tell you, only those who’ve actually left college or abandoned their degree pursuit truly understand the hardships they face, the criticism they endure. You might see their success, but you’ll never comprehend the struggles they endured.

Now, you might think, “I can handle a few years of criticism and just survive, right?” Wrong. It’s not that simple. I strongly advise against dropping out. Pursue your passions, but don’t overthink it. Take it easy; attend college, come home, and then delve into UX or whatever you’re passionate about.

Some say, “Degrees don’t matter.” I somewhat agree, but they provide structure. College offers more than just a degree; it provides valuable experiences and opportunities. You’ll learn essential skills, meet people from diverse backgrounds, and enhance your communication skills. Most importantly, you won’t feel discouraged.

Especially in India, regardless of your success or earnings, people will inquire about your degree. So think twice. If you’re in 12th grade and can afford college, go for it. And if you’re already in college, please, don’t drop out. You’ll regret it later.

I’m proud of you for taking your life seriously, pursuing your passions. You’ve made it this far, and I believe you’re destined for greatness.

Remember the advice of Ansh Mehra : Just “Take it easy” We’re human; we can’t learn everything overnight. Focus on finishing your college studies first. In your free time, explore UX design or whatever interests you.

Don’t panic, prioritize your health, and stop overthinking. Stay consistent, find motivation through podcasts, and I’m confident you’ll achieve remarkable things in the future. Good luck friends.
