Everyone is a designer. Get over it.
Daniel Burka

Design is to prepare the plans for work to be executed. Meaning that anyone who has a hand in building something is — by definition — a designer. As a product designer I am the voice of the users goals, I plan for them, therefore I design for them. My work feeds the engineers who build the product, but my work is only part of the overall plan needed to fully execute and produce something of value. I need the rest of the team to ’design’ and create all the other parts of the eco-system of the product. I do not design the product, my team does.
