Adrenaline : the way to succeed as an entrepreneur !

When you are an entrepreneur, when you are leading a company whether it is still a startup or a “group”, you need to figure out how to manage your stress and feelings…

What I’ve learned since I co-founded thetops.fr, is that I need to feel strong emotions outside my daily work. It took me almost 2 years to finally figure it out and assume this feeling.

It might seems strange because you might say : “don’t you have enough stress during the day ? why don’t you just relax”? Actually I ask myself this question quite often. But at the end, I feel so good after a good adrenaline that it worth the shot !

I just learned to step back my role as an entrepreneur, a CEO, a colleague, a co-founder or whatever the title. I learned the hard way that to feel great at work I need to feel awesome outside ! So I started listing things that I used to love : travels, sports, having a drink with some friends, meeting inspiring people…

Every day, I’m setting new related work objectives. What I started to do few months ago is setting up personal objectives such as places I want to visit, sport’s level I wanted to achieve etc…

So I went to Iceland hiking, started to learn how to surf, I had my first skydiving experience (I truly want to get my diploma) and this is just the beginning. My list is quite long but as much as we love our companies, startups, jobs, we must also take care of ourselves and what’s really important for us in order to succeed !
