I wonder how true this is, especially in the world of consumer goods like clothing, accessories and cars. It feels to me like people prefer to be known for the brands they wear, and social media (take Instagram) is doing well to peddle this fascination as brands like Supreme, Louis Vuitton, Adidas, start to really take hold of consumers’ passions.
