I’m hesitant to jump into such a heated conversation, but I’d like to correct the record for you. Sanders has had a plan on how we’ll win change all along. Citizen agitation and participation over time will drive a political revolution, the election of a new wave of social-democratic elected officials mirroring the Tea Party wave of 2010 and 2014. That’s not something that Clinton can really ask for or inspire, she has to sell the idea that things aren’t so bad and progress is happening even though its clear we’re actually headed in the other direction. Even if her proposals are the more polished, and even if she is devoid of corruption so many of us suspect, her leadership will encourage apathy and lead to the same gridlock.
