Calibrate output

1. Connect meter to anode and cathode to read amperage at the milliamp level.

2. Turn the larger potentiometer all the way to the right.

3. Adjust the smaller potentiometer with a small screwdriver until the amperage reads 2.0 milliamps.

4. Mark the position on the larger potentiometer.

5. Turn the larger potentiometer counterclockwise until the meter reads 1.5 milliamps. Mark that position. Do the same for 1.0 and 0.5.

Measure your head using 10–12 system: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/10%E2%80%9320_system_(EEG)

Decide on a montage. What is a montage? The montage refers to where the electrodes are placed. Here is a nice list of some montages: http://totaltdcs.com/

Attach electrodes to Inthinkerator, paying attention to which is the anode and which is the cathode. Ensure the electrode are properly wetted with saline solution.

Place the electrodes on your head using the selected montage. Hold in place with a headband or cap.

Begin your session. Most guidance limits session time to 20 minutes. There is some debate regarding safe frequency. Many believe once daily is safe.

The battery terminal wires and the electrode wires do not plug into breadboard easily nor do they stay well.
