nidhi satrawala, your hbase wasn’t properly initialized, or zookeeper had some problem. This occurs when hbase isn’t properly started up. Do you have hbase outside the pio, or inisde pio installation folder? You can manually kill the Hmaster process with first jsp to see the process and kill -9 pid to kill. And then again restarted pio. Also if you have standalone hbase, then you could do start-hbase.sh inside the bin folder of hbase installation. hope that helps.
