A few years ago I created and added Armenian letters to several Google Fonts. I did it as a hobby, and wasn’t expecting any material reward from authors of typefaces or from anyone downloading and using the fonts in their projects.

Դիտարկենք նոր թղթադրամն ըստ 3 հիմնական չափանիշի՝

2. պաշտպանվածություն,
3. թղթի որակ։
Յուրաքանչյուր չափանիշ կգնահատենք 1–10 միավորներով՝ այլ երկրների թղթադրամների համապատասխան չափանիշի հետ համեմատությամբ։

Որոշեցի սկսել թղթի որակից, քանի որ դա, ցավոք, նոր թղթադրամների միակ դրական կողմն է։
Նոր թղթադրամն, ինչպես արդեն հայտնի է, տպվում է ոչ թե բամբակյա թղթի, այլ հատուկ հիբրիդային թղթի վրա, ինչն ավելի է երկարացնում գործածության ժամկետը։ Ես, օրինակ, շատ լավ եմ հիշում ինչ արագությամբ էին մաշվում երկրորդ սերնդի 50 եւ 100 դրամանոցները մինչեւ մետաղադրամով փոխարինվելը։
