Looking the other way around…
“Behind every successful man, there is a woman” — well let’s look deeper into it, in contemporary era…
First off: are men behind women, or women behind men? women shouldn’t be portrayed as “behind man” — it should be other way around.
And, do we think that man are successful, or women are successful — i think, women. Because, there is more flexibility and independence in new age women.
So here below what I would like to correct in new version of this quote —
“Behind every successful woman, there is a man”
OR if man loving groups want to retain the portrayal of successful man, then, I would rephrase the quote as -
“Behind a man, there is woman, and in her presence, the man has to be successful!”
(purely subjective opinions here) — no offenses anyone.
