There are quite a few trends on Instagram that make summer photos stand out. Shifting blue colors into aqua. Getting your skin a summer glow and making it silky smooth. And with that being said, here are some quick tips to make your photos POP.

How can you do that?

Honestly, the easiest way is to download a Lightroom app preset to your phone. By using the same preset at least for 9 photos at a time, you will keep your feed looking professional. Check out “ Santorini”, “ California”, “ SunKissed” presets. All of them have a different feel to it. And YET, they all bring out that summer mood.

What are the Best Instagram Filters?

Here’s the catch: none. Maybe before there were a couple of decent ones but now they are so overused. If you still want to use Instagram filters, I can’t stop you. But keep in mind that less is more. Especially with those filters. And by that being said, your photos will just not look that much different than anyone else. How to edit your photos to look like golden hour There are many videos and articles saying that you can fake the golden hour. Which you can, but the real deal is always better, isn’t it? So give yourself a little bit of your time and take those photos an hour before the sunset. It isn’t that difficult. There are a few features though that you could use from golden hour look for other photos.

3 Things to Keep in Mind When You Edit Photos on Your Own

Editing photos on your standard phone editor is very limiting. For me personally, the Lightroom phone app is exactly what I need. Here are the tips that will help you to create that beautiful summer look just with your phone.

1) Bring Up the Temperature. Basically, if you want the summer glow, you need the golden tones. The only problem with this is that as soon as you increase the temperature, your skin will get an orange tint.

2) Bring the Vibrance Down. This will help you to get rid of the fake orange skin tone. However, by doing so, you make your photo look a little bit dull.

3) Use a Preset. I can assure you that immediately the photo will look more interesting. This time it’s a build-in Lightroom preset “High Contrast & Detail”. If you were ever wondering why people need presets, this is why. Just look at the difference yourself.

Summer Presets that will Change Your Photography Game Forever

Now that you have seen what a build-in preset can do I would like you to see what professional presets can do to your photos.

If you were ever asking yourself how to make your skin look tan, this is how. Of course, I am not discounting all of those hours you were sunbathing. But I think we both can agree that this makes your skin radiant. Not to even mention the fact that all of it is done without that annoying orange tint.

I love this preset because it makes the photos colors POP. Enhance your best features and create the summer look that you deserve.

I will be honest with you, I have a weakness for the right color of blue. Beautiful sky and water without sacrificing your natural and beautifully tanned skin tone.
