This is a difficult decision that requires a significant clarity of priorities. Long term happiness and sustainability usually lose out to shorter term financial growth.

It took us a long time before we took the plunge too (although we refer to it as Investment Time, to encourage folks to hack stuff together at the office on the same day of the week every week, as much as possible)
