Reflecting about Reflection
Vanessa Calleja

Vanessa, this post was a good read as it was both interesting and informative. Reflective thinking was clear and concise and related directly to those aspiring to become future educators and how this would be helpful in a classroom environment. I particularly appreciate the section of the benefits of reflective thinking and how beneficial it can be to a student working towards the production of a worthy piece of writing. It allows myself as the reader, to gain further insight of how we are learners and that through this practice of receiving feedback we are able to improve our own work. Through reading this post I wonder, what types of reflective practice are there? Some elaboration on various forms of reflective practice and how they operate would have been useful like journals, diaries, blogs, group and peer discussions.
