Hey There!

This is my first ever blog post on medium. Here I’m gonna let you know about how to make yourself equipped with Azure.

Some might know about Azure while others may not. So I will start with a question

What Is Azure?

Azure is a cloud platform which offers you with services for computation, storage, analytics and so on and it was offered by Microsoft.

We can do lot of stuffs with Azure right from creating ML model using Azure Machine Learning studio to creating dashboards using Power BI.

Well the terms which i have used seems to be new even i’m just a beginner in these ones. But the thing is that we can do much more with Azure. All you need is to have a Subscription.

Now,

What is subscription and why do we need that?

Basically all the resources like Virtual Machines, Storage creation, Azure Machine learning studio, etc requires a subscription. Each resources will have a cost associated with it and this cost will be added up against your subscription. In Azure most of the resources will be used as “Pay as You go” Model meaning, the cost will be charged based on your usage.

Seems like Interesting. But how can i start 🤔?

You can start of by taking up a learning path from Microsoft Learn you can filter the learning path based on your interest and take up a certification. You can also attend virtual training sessions organized by microsoft for taking up the certification. Certification will add credibility to your resume and it’s completely upto your choice whether to take up or not and the cost of certification will be around 99 USD for fundamentals and for Associate level it will be around 150 USD.

Sometimes Microsoft offers free certification campaigns for students and even some of the organizations have partnership with microsoft, and providing these free certification campaign. Isn’t it cool!!

Already Completed a certification and what’s next?

If you have already completed a certification you can take up another based on the role you prefer and the link for the same is given here for your reference.

Well, that’s all for this blog. Will let you know about my cloud certification journey in my next blog until then stay tuned :)
