Prior to starting the UX/UI Ironhack Bootcamp, multiple exercises had to be done in advance as part of the “prework” package in order to be best prepared for the upcoming weeks and months.

After having watched the TED Talk “How giant websites design for you!” of Margaret Gould Steward (Director of Product design at Facebook) I took a pen and some paper and started writing Visual notes.

Writing and sketching along a given talk or presentation is indeed something I haven’t done prior to this exercise (atleast not the sketching part, clearly). It was somewhat challenging to visualise some of her talking points and then summarize the presentation whilst listening to her TED talk. Evidentally, this exercise, visual note taking, will become more natural the more often the individual picks up a pen and paper. I’m keen on how my visual note taking will change/improve throughout the bootcamp.
