Thanks Debra. I've only come close to that kind of problem once. I'd broken up with a guy and was with a new partner. In the middle of the night there was a crash against the outside door my ex was hitting it and screaming out abuse. I'd heard from his mother that he had psychiatric problems. She came over and talked him down. I don't think that I was scared, more sad because he was normally nice.
