VALDI Virtual Machines now support custom port forwarding. Ports are used extensively during network communications over the internet. Every time you visit a website, for example, your browser automatically connects to port 443 of the computer or server where the website is hosted. Connecting to a server over the command prompt often uses port 22. With custom port forwarding now available on VALDI, you can configure up to 100 ports to more easily host and configure a variety of services. Where you’re hosting databases, serving websites, deploying APIs, or running gaming or chat servers, VALDI can work for you.

VALDI has rolled out support for launching VMs with several popular Machine Learning and AI libraries pre-installed, including Jupyter Notebooks, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, MxNet, fast.ai, and cuDNN. This new feature will save researchers valuable time during configuration of their virtual machines, ultimately allowing them to focus more on innovation and progress. To get started, simply navigate to VALDI Direct, choose a GPU type, and then select the flavor of Ubuntu image you want to use, as shown in the screenshot below.
