Re Human Day 15

I’m re-defining my lifestyle — I’m developing myself in 15 areas at a time. This post is part of my Re Human project.

Daily Habits

Re Human Extended Activity: Mondays is VR Artist & Architect, and Digital Drawing & Painting.

VR Artist & Architect: I continued learning about A-Frame. Found out that one can enter an “inspector mode” for any A-Frame scene, where one can manipulate the objects in 3D and change their properties — so I did that with my copy of the museum scene, hosting it through localhost. It truly looks like architecture in the future.

Digital Drawing & Painting

Sketching and applying the techniques I learned on Saturday. Improvement for sure but not there yet.

Fitness: Today I kept practicing for the handstand and side abs.

Writing: Experimented with writing this post as I’m doing the activities again — I feel like I’m saving time because if I take a screenshot/photo I can immediately paste it here. I’m about to write a daily thought about “personal energy” as probably one of the most useful metrics to consider for anything you’d consider doing.

Piano: Today in Flowkey I finished their beginner course on the C major chord. In the course I learned Ode to Joy and When the Saints Go Marching By, both with the C major chord.

Books: Finished Yuval Noah Harari’s 21 lessons for the 21st century. I loved the ending, wasn’t a raving fan of the beginning/middle. Started reading “How to fail at almost everything and still win big” by Scott Adams (Dilbert). Chose this book because as far as I’ve been able to tell, he’s one of the first persons who introduced the idea that systems are better than goals and that “follow your passion” is bad advice.

Meditation: 20mins in morning.

Soccer trick juggling: Today I put more air in my soccer ball — felt good practicing but could definitely felt the difference in the hardness of the ball.

Connections, takeaways and Ideas for tomorrow

I’ve realized it would be much much easier to create a VR world if I were also creating within a VR world — a 2D scene (what I’m currently using, my laptop) is obviously a way harder and slower medium for creating than if I were creating in 3D.
