A quick blurb about myself — my name is Valeria. I am passionate about working with mission-driven companies making positive changes in society. My previous employers have been mission-driven and hands-on startups with missions to educate consumers on how brands influence our purchasing decisions and to improve teacher retention in PK-12 Schools in the country. About a year ago, I decided to change my career and become a Product Designer. I've designed and managed (from concept to launch) numerous revenue-producing features.

I am a self-taught product designer. I am looking for 1) a place to improve my design skills by collaborating with people who nurture creativity and innovation through support and constant, enriching feedback; and 2) work in a company whose mission is at the forefront of all business and product decisions.
