I love being an untethered woman, open to all the options, free from the compromises and constraints of formal coupledom. Yet that very freedom I enjoy has been not a little scary to a woman or two of my acquaintance who wrongly feared that I saw her husband as fair game.

While on that subject I applaud your naked honesty and humor about your current liaisons with Mr Home and Hearth. Hey, I’ve been there. It takes immense strength to so casually reveal what’s serving you best right now, no matter what moral grounds you leave yourself open to being skewered on.
