If they say so, it must be true.

They say entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t

When you take the plunge into the world of entrepreneurialism and take up residence next to an army of start-ups in one of the many co-work spaces springing from the ground like flowers in spring, you imagine getting up every morning fuelled with creativity, tossing around revolutionary ideas and crafting your vision.

Well let’s be frank, in reality, you are crunching numbers into excel, searching for the right business model and desperately trying to find that one designer, like a needle in a haystack, that just gets you and is able to turn your crazy visions into a functioning web design.

One of those days

Don’t get me wrong, taking the plunge has been one of the best decisions of my life, but some days you forget. Forget why you started this endeavour in the first place; your social mission can easily get lost in paperwork and endless discussions about the right colour and font for your website.

Well, one thing is for sure, being your own boss comes with endless responsibilities, mundane tasks and a relentless need for motivation and discipline, every day of the week.

But it’s worth it — well it must be. For success takes much more than a strong vision. Right?
