Valkyrie Community Update | October 2021

Welcome to the first Valkyrie Protocol community update! Valkyrie Protocol officially launched its web app and first-ever campaign this past month on October 13, 2021. We’re thrilled to recount the highlights of the past few weeks since Valkyrie’s launch and look forward to the heights Valkyrie Protocol will reach together with the community.

Valkyrie Ecosystem Highlights

• Valkyrie Protocol officially launches on October 13, 2021, releasing the web application, $VKR token on Terraswap, and first Valkyrie campaign in short succession. Prior to the official launch, the $VKR token was available to the community on Pylon Swap and Pylon Pools.
• Valkyrie reaches $100M in TVL and $70M in Liquidity within the first 2 weeks of launch — thanks to the Valkyrians who made this possible.
• The first poll introducing campaign lock-up period options and parameters from referral reward caps is now up on governance.
• $VKR is now trackable on Coingecko and Coinmarketcap.
• Public poll for potential Valkyrie partnerships is now up!
• The $VKR-$UST vault is ready to be integrated with Spectrum Protocol, pending governance proposal passage.
• ApeBoard Finance now supports Valkyrie, allowing users to track their $VKR staking and VKR/UST farming in one place.

Valkyrie Campaigns

• Valkyrie’s inaugural “Share2Earn” campaign: ~$1.4M distributed in rewards with over 7K referrals, leading the first campaign to reach completion in less than 48H!
