Valkyrie Protocol: “Terra 2.0 Plan”
Summary:
After the UST de-peg event that caused a seismic shake in the Terra Universe, Valkyrie Protocol has joined the reconstruction alliance with the Terra Builders Association (TBA) and Terraform Labs (TFL) to rebuild Terra 2.0.

As the community is attempting to piece together a fragmented and disoriented ecosystem, Valkyrie Protocol is looking to be available to fill any voids for a community builder protocol. In Terra 2.0, where protocols and projects are forced to revive and reignite their vision, Valkyrie is hoping to become an assistant tool to activate the DApps, through activation campaigns and token sales, such as IPCs.
While Valkyrie itself is establishing itself to spearhead DApp Activation, it cannot do so without the support of the Valkyrie Community. In line with the Terra Revival plan above and in sync with other rebuilding protocols, Valkyrie will be executing the following Distribution Plan.
The New $VKR Distribution Plan:
As part of our relaunch plan, new $VKR tokens will be distributed based on previous held $VKR balances on Terra Classic in accordance to the below snapshots, which is endorsed by the Terra LUNA’s Revival Plan proposal and followed by multiple partner factions within the Terra Universe.
The Date & Time of Snapshots:
- A pre-depeg snapshot will be taken at Terra Classic block 7544910 (2022.05.07 23:00:04+08:00)
- A post-depeg snapshot will be taken at Terra Classic block 7790000 (2022.05.27 03:59:51+08:00)
The Distribution of the new $VKR tokens will consider:
🔸 Previously held $VKR balances in Terra Classic, including:
- Governance Staked $VKR
- LP Provided $VKR
- Terra Wallet Holders
🔸 Only $VKR in circulating supply will be distributed
🔸 Details on pre-depeg / post-depeg distribution weights will be disclosed shortly hereafter
