Why I’m Not Celebrating Canada Day on July 1st
I haven’t forgotten our history and neither should you
On July 1st, 1867, the Dominion of Canada was created. Since then, Canada Day has been celebrated annually on July 1st nationwide and is a federal holiday. Fireworks, barbeques and parties are common.
