One of various reasons is the limitation in iOS itself people don’t understand. For example, the background behavior of apps in iOS is very inconsistent in comparison with Android. You turn on photo syncing and forget about everything in Android. It simply doesn’t happen in iOS. Put the phone in battery saver mode, the app looses background refresh. It takes painstakingly long time to upload pics in Dropbox if that pics are already uploaded in icloud and are replaced by low res pics if the OS invokes low storage mode. Limitations/Security decisions to blame. Not the problem with the app or the customers!
