World’s largest nation and known for talented computer programmers and mathematicians,Russia is one among those countries that doesn’t need a proper introduction cause on some level,average human might’ve heard about it or Putin,its prez in news or on papers.
Before the formation of its federation in 1991,Russia was known as Soviet Union along with some other countries.It dissolved due to the radical reforms that Gorbachev implemented during his 6 years reign.
Agriculture is still growing steadily,making it the largest producer of oats and barley in the world.Also,Russia is biggest resource for natural gas in the world.Energy resources,be it renewable or non renewable,Russia got their own reserves and ranking top ten in both energy sectors.
The Urals, the oldest mountains in the world and lake Baikal, the world’s deepest lake and the largest reservoir of fresh water on earth are in Russia.
Russian language does not include a word for 'the' or 'a' which is good because these often lead to confusion in other languages.
On the map,it may seem that US and Russia are on the opposite ends of the earth,but the closest points distance between the two countries is just 4km!

Some Russians believe that white stands for generosity, blue for loyalty and red for courage. (There’s no official meaning for it)
It’s currency is ruble.
