You’ll be provided with transport to the volunteer location, this can be by bus or train, whichever is convenient. Travelling by bus or train from Delhi to Dharamsala is such an exciting journey, you’ll have a chance to see beautiful scenery. You’ll also have an opportunity to travel with an iSpiice staff member who will not only serve as your guide for the day but the person who will introduce you to the volunteer program.

You have a chance to learn a new language; you’ll get Hindi lessons, where you’ll be taught the basics. These lessons will introduce you to a language that is spoken by the majority of the people in the area where you’ll be offering volunteer services. You’ll be happy to learn that the language is prominent; it is spoken by a large group of people. It is only second to Mandarin in terms of the number of people who use it in their day to day communication. The language is easy to learn, you might find that by the time you are through with the volunteer program in India, you’ll have mastered the language to an extent where you can hold a meaningful communication with native speakers. The volunteer program in India will have provided an avenue for you to learn a new language; this is not an everyday opportunity. Most people learn new languages through studying; they pay high costs to master the language. Here you have an opportunity to learn the language, right from native speakers. The most interesting thing about this opportunity is that it is all free. You also have a chance to speak with the natives, you may be lucky to leave the country having learnt the Indian accent, something that most visitors in the country never achieve.
