Yes! I don’t particularly seek out fiction, but I do love reading and writing about psychology. Sadly, the Psychology tag also seems to be full of people sharing their one-sentence-per-paragraph life advice… Nothing against life advice based on a few personal experiences, but I would hardly presume to call that psychology. So how do we go from here?

Personally I hope good content will prevail in the end if we make it a point to only reward terrific content with claps, shares, and responses. Until a critical mass of users does that we will keep seeing articles blurted out in <30 min become more popular than articles that took 10+ hours to research and craft. Sadly, those people who try to write really good long-form content are at a double disadvantage—not only is the content “harder” to read, it is also harder to create, which means a longer time between posts and a dismal chance of getting recognition…

To keep or not to keep trying, that is the question. For now I say let’s keep trying :)
