I do honestly belive Clinton wants the best for the US and every American and that she means and will try to follow through with her proposals. However, she will play the political game has is has been done by countless presidents before her, through compromise, “inclusive and expansive” proposals, guided by “political boundaries set in stone”. The author believes Sanders’s proposals violate these boundaries and are, therefore, unpassable, especially given the current house and senate composition. This is where I profundly disagree with this piece. I believe Sanders has proved he can bring people together to support him and loudly voice their support. Similarly, I believe he will be able to do the same when it comes to supporting his legislation. And when the people come together and voice their will, there is no house or senate that can stop them. Political boundaries might be set in stone, but voice knows no boundaries and stone is certainly not unbreakable.
