Our team, F.D.R (Future’s Dreaming Reality) came up with the idea of V-Room, the multiplayer, real-time, media platform in which people from all around the globe could get informed about any news they were interested in and interact with other users immediately. This idea sounded brilliant at first since nothing similar to this is out in the market at the moment so the hype of innovation got the best of us. Little did we know that enormous difficulties were about to come.

Doing many informative and feedback sessions in class we found out that our idea was indeed extraordinary but it was just words, a flashy story. When we realised how far from achieving our goal we actually were we got devasted and suddenly the whole F.D.R team fell apart in disappointment. And then it clicked to us. What we should do is get help from professionals, people who experience Virtual Reality daily and do this for a living.

After some research we decided that contacting The Vr Project in Athens would be an excellent U-turn in our idea since they would provide us with some actual and professional feedback. But our effort went in vain because they ignored all our emails. We didn’t give up though. We visited them as costumers and we tried two or three of their offering experiences, them being The Plank, Zombie Rising and Fire-Fighting, and believe me it was worth every cent. We got hooked so fast and starting asking questions and getting quality feedback about what we were struggling to manage with our project.

All of us were fascinated and understood how difficult it is to produce a code and algorithm to actually give our project flesh and bones. This fact didn’t strip us from our hopes, it strengthened them! The Vr Project group advised to get creative for our protype project. They seemed excited from what we had in mind and of course what shouln’t we!? After our visit to the Vr Project we are ready to face and difficulty.
