Could I ask you for some clarification why you think speculative trading can result in unrecoverable token price?
In my opinion, the ICO phase we are in now is driven purely by speculation. There are very few exceptions that have already demonstrated the value of their technology/business and can thus say that their token has some inherent value that we can measure it by.

Having said that, I don’t see any reason why a token price could not recover to a level that reflects the inherent value if/when that value is demonstrated.

I would argue that speculative trading and potential price crashes can only affect future ICOs as the market sentiment will turn negative and funding will dry up but should not have any long-lasting consequences on the existing (and proven) tokens.
