This is going to be more of a photo post because its hard to put beauty in words (though professional writers will deny this claim☺)

To go to kheerGanga you need to get down at a place called Bhuntar. It lies on the highway which connects Delhi and Manali.
There are very cheap buses which ply between Bhuntar and Bharshini. Avoid taking cabs since they are pretty expensive. Kasol is a very famous place which lies between these two towns (And i am sure you know why is it famous ☺).

After reaching Bharshini either you can start the trek from here or you can take a day’s halt at Kalga which is very close by to Bharshini.
We reached Bharshini in the evening so we had to stay over at Kalga.

It was unknown to us that the trek from Kalga is much more difficult than the one from Bharshini so be careful as this route can be extremely tricky during rainy days.

There are many small houses in Kalga which offer rooms at around 300 Rs (5$) per day and they are pretty clean. The village is serene and the air here is very clean (height of village is around 6000ft).
We started our trek at around 10 in the morning after a gourmet breakfast which included pan cake, toast, tea etc.

KheerGanga is a very small place. Maximum number of people at any point would be hundred.
There are lot of warm and cosy cafe’s out there which provide really cheap rooms to stay. The price again ranges from 300-600 Rs per day.
This place is famous for its hot springs. People claim that it has healing powers and especially any skin disease gets healed up if you take a dip in these waters.
