Pokemon Go was only released in US, Aus and NZ at launch. I’m assuming the majority are US based. Reading the numbers SimilarWeb posted, I’m thinking their numbers aren’t too far off for US only. Pokemon Go has the benefit of being a brand new game so it’s anyones guess as to what it’s staying power is if if downloads will continue to increase, but at this rate, Pokemon Go is poised to do some record breaking things.

Retention / Stickyness is what the real focus of attention should be. DAU’s are a leading indicator, but if churn starts to pick up as the app losses the users attention, it could just be a flash in the pan.
