It’s only a sound, as if we were saying
‘more’, or ‘yes’ or ‘stop this’.

‘No’.
Don’t you ever dare to think it.
‘No’.
Do we even have the right?
‘No’.

It’s a word for us but not for them.
‘Could we get a free abortion?’
‘No’.
‘Could I get free contraception?’
‘No’.
‘Could we have equal rights, equal pay, equal opportunities?’
‘Of course not’.
‘Will you at least stop the rapists, the abusers, the assassins?

‘No’.
