oor..may be both (Rick as well as management) should have coordinated interactive dialog periodically to make the best of both leading to a win-win both for customer and organization. Undoubtedly I feel the loss is both ways by firing Rick and managing his availability, talent and his pluses and minuses are the key parts missing.
