Review: I have recently finished this “reset”, so I wanted to be sure to write a review. I was familiar with Harley’s name in the world of celebrity fitness, but when I saw him on Revenge Body I was intrigued by his plan. I was already having one smoothie a day, so that seemed manageable enough. I had been working out several times a week at Orange Theory Fitness, and while I was toning up, I still had so much fat on top of my muscle, and my weight was at an uncomfortable number for me, so I wanted to do something to really shake it up. I read through tons of reviews, and it seemed like most of the negative ones were from people who hadn’t even tried it, so I wanted to give it a shot.I am a stay at home mom, so I do have flexibility and making smoothies was no problem, but I could see how this might be challenging for someone on the go or working in an office. I am 39 years old and at 5'5" I weighed 141 when I started, so I am not way overweight, but definitely had 10–15 pounds to lose. I already had a pedometer that had been collecting dust for years, so I pulled that out. I was surprised by how little I was actually walking each day, but it became a challenge to myself to get more steps each day than the day before. I now walk usually a minimum of 12,000 steps, but often more. The first few days I felt hungry and a little grumpy, but I was losing weight quickly which seemed a fair tradeoff. Once the first five days were up and I could add a meal, I felt much better. I chose to eat breakfast, as that was when I was hungriest.I enjoyed the smoothies, as they were different than what I would normally make. I always add greens to my smoothies, so the white and red ones were a nice change. My 15 days ended two days ago, but I am continuing on with the plan because I feel great. Other than a headache on the first days which I am sure was from withdrawals, I have not had a headache, which is a huge improvement for me as I suffer from them on a regular basis, I think because of my sugar addiction. My energy also remains great throughout the day, whereas before I would get a a serious mid afternoon slump every single day. I honestly was feeling so run down and terrible on a daily basis that I was getting very frustrated, and in turn probably reaching for foods I should not have. I also normally have terrible PMS, where I feel like I have been hit by a bus for the few days before my period starts. Other than some mild moodiness, I have felt great this time around, which is such a relief considering my period comes every 24 days or so, so feeling terrible that often stinks!The walking aspect has been very relaxing. In the book Harley talks about people busting their butt for an hour at a work out class and then being sedentary all day, and how this really isn’t doing our bodies any good, and this really resonated with me. I often have an all or nothing attitude about working out, like if it’s not a super challenging sweat session than it’s not worth it and I end up doing nothing instead, which is totally illogical. So the idea of incorporating something as easy as walking into my day seemed like such a relief. It’s easy to lose motivation and not go to a workout class, it’s not hard to stand up and walk around. I also had no problem doing the body weight exercises, although it did take me more like 13–15 minutes each session as I was doing the advanced recommendations of 3 circuits of 20.All in all, I would say this has been such a positive experience for me. I lost 6 pounds in the 15 days, and about 5.5 inches, and I was very happy with that. I felt like grocery shopping and meal planning was so much easier (and cheaper) without having to plan out what was for dinner each day. I feel very motivated to keep up with it and I would and have recommend this to anyone looking to get back on track. Thanks Harley!

Review: I would definitely recommend this to anyone who hasn’t been able to lose the weight! I’m the type of person who needs to see it in front of me. And this book does it! Tells u exactly what to eat and how to exercise. I followed the plan exactly and lost 15lbs in 15 days!!! And that’s not all. I have continued the diet as phase 2 and have been losing 5lbs each week!!! I’m down a total of 30lbs in less than a month and I feel great. This book is awesome!

Review: I started this on 2/25 weighing 160 lbs. and have lost 6 lbs already as of 3/10. I am 39 years old women and have been trying to lose weight for 2 years so far after I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism. I also have PCOS with insulin resistance and thought I was doomed to lose weight. Because of the insulin resistance I could only do Phase 1 for a three days because it was too much fruit (fructose), woke up sweating at night. So I started doing Phase 3 (eat around 1300 calories a day) with a smoothie for lunch during work and that works WONDERFULLY! I used to eat fast food during work lunch and now I have a smoothie! I use a pedometer and strive to do 10,000 steps a day and that is getting fun, like a game to find new ways to squeeze the most steps out of anything I do. And I have SO much energy. As many other reviewers have mentioned, there is nothing inherently new about his info, but I needed a simple starting point to begin eating more structured diet with a low cortisol producing exercise like walking to get my metabolism moving again. I also track my food in the Lose It app and website. Also, found ThinkThin 150 calorie bars are awesome, the perfect 150 cal 5 protein, fiber and sugar Harvey recommends for snacks and they taste great (s’mores are my favorite). Hope this review gives just one person motivation for change!! Oh and I have 13 more lbs to lose so will updated this post accordingly.

Review: I have been dieting since high school. You name it I have done it! weight watchers, atkins, south beach, jenny craig, keto, paleo and Whole 30. I always yo yo and struggle by the 2nd day. I always have a hard time committing to it and by the 5th day I end up doing 1/2 of it or find a way of incorporating it into my lifestyle but not committing to the entire thing. Now at age 47 I feel so relieved to have found something that I can do easily and something that’s not so expensive. I am only on day 5 and I have lost 4lbs already. Which is huge for a female my age. The last diet I was on I lost 2lbs in the first week and gave up and gained back 5.Reasons I LOVE this diet so far:1. he explains the method to his madness and makes complete sense. I was so scared about not working out because I usually work out hard! CrossFit and peloton in one day! Well, the lockdown made it easier for me to not do my crossfit. Everything he says about over doing it makes sense and so true. From personal experience I know this.2. Wow! This diet doesn’t break the bank! All those specialty items I would buy was always so expensive. Keto this, paleo that and bullet proof oil in my coffee was is enough to question your life choices during these hard times. You’re eating healthy and not breaking the bank. Win, win.3. by far super easy to do! I already read the entire book and even though I am starting phase two. I can tell all the recipes for the meals will be easy for me. If you’re use to meal prepping this diet will be a breeze. I mean you throw everything in a blender and call it a day! How hard is that?!4. I am never hungry and my sugar cravings have completely stopped. I was worried because I have done liquid diets before and they are tough to do. But these smoothies keep me soooooo full until the next meal. I make pizza for my kids and crave my smoothie instead. Its not hard to stay on this at all for me?? The snacks you are allowed to have in the first phase are the secret I think to staying committed. It being only 5 days until you start incorporating meals makes it easier as well.5. The smoothies are SO good?! I never was a big smoothie lover. I never followed any recipes and always just did my own or followed some pinterest recipes but I usually drank them to save time or to try to add more protein in my diet via protein powder. His recipes are delicious!6. My stomach issues and leaky gut have stopped? I was a big fan of elimination diets because I always thought that my stomach pains, issues came from legumes, dairy and grains. Well this diet kind of proves that wrong. My stomach seems to be fine so far. I’m thinking certain food combinations make a big difference of how you react to it.I’ll have to do more research on that.So the only thing I had issues with this diet is the amount of dairy you have. I never ate yogurt or dairy. I mean… I was big into Paleo. So I love greek yogurt now and I drink non dairy milk instead. Which seems to be agreeing with me for some reason.I’ll have to update this when I am in phase 3. I can honestly say that I am super excited about this diet! Or lifestyle change. My goal is to loose 20lbs.4lbs down and 16 to go.Update 28 days after starting: So I am still on and havn’t veered off except for a couple of days. I am down 7lbs. I have not been dilligent with the workouts so I am beyond happy loosing this much in a month considering my age(47) and being a female. Its tough the older I get. Really, the best thing about this lifestyle change is that I don’t feel hungry and I don’t feel like I am depriving myself. Still by far the easiest “diet” I have ever done. I am confident that I will reach my goal. 7 down, 13 to go!
